The Sarahjfk is licensed and insured for 12 persons and operates under the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) code of practice for charter boats. Consequently a life-raft, full emergency and personal safety equipment (lifejackets, first aid kit, etc.) is carried.
Safety at sea is a serious matter and, therefore, the consumption of alcohol on board is to be kept to an absolute minimum. Also no illegal or banned substances are to be brought on board.
Failure to comply may result in the skipper terminating the trip and returning to the Quay.
The decision of the skipper is final and no refunds will be given.
Weather conditions at sea are cooler and an extra layer of clothing may be appropriate. If the weather looks changeable consideration should be given to bringing waterproof clothing.
Suitable footwear, with non-slip soles, should be worn.
Should a trip be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions your deposit will be refunded or an alternative date arranged.
In the event of the customer cancelling the trip and another booking is not able to be secured for that date the operator reserves the right to retain the deposit.
No claim will be accepted against the operator for cancellation due to illness, breakdown or any event beyond the operator’s control.
I would like to think that I am one of the most experienced and respected charter skippers with over 25 years of experience fishing the prolific marks off The Tyne. My experience of the waters off The Tyne spans over 25 years as both a pleasure angler and professional fisherman. I have owned boats all of this time both on my own and with my father George, also a fisherman. My favourite type of angling is Cod and Ling Fishing there's nothing like it!!I get the same amount of pleasure seeing my customers enjoying the fishing on my boat as I do with a rod in the water myself, No skipper can guarantee catching big fish or filling the boat up every time you get on board - what I do promise is a value for money day out where myself and my crew will work hard for the anglers ensuring both enjoyment from your day onboard Sarahjfk and hopefully, maximise the chance of catching that fish of a lifetime!".
